The Center for Child Protection provides help, hope, and healing to children who are victims of sexual assault or severe physical injury or who are witnesses to a violent crime. In Travis County, the Center is the "first stop" in the child abuse investigation process, offering a pioneering approach in which investigating agencies collaborate to place a child's best interests first. All services, both investigative and therapeutic, are offered to children and their protective caregivers at no charge.
