2008 NFL Alumni Golf Classic & Caring for Kids Banquet
 

The 6th Annual NFL Alumni Golf Classic sponsored by KB Home will be held June 19-20, 2008. Held the evening before the golf tournament, the Caring for Kids Banquet sponsored by Lexus of Austin will feature the chance for the golfers and sports enthusiasts to meet their NFL heroes and pick up some fabulous items at the silent and live auctions. The NFL Alumni Austin Chapter will also honor their "Man of the Year." The following morning features a spectacular day of golf at The Hills Country Club. Four-member teams captained by an NFL Alumnus compete for the ultimate prize—representing the Austin NFL alumni at the 2009 Super Bowl of Golf Tournament. All proceeds from the event benefit the Center for Child Protection, Travis County's Children's Advocacy Center which is the first stop for children during child abuse investigations.  Visit the tournament website to sign up today!

2007 NFL Alumni Austin Chapter 4th Annual Klays for Kids™ Sporting Clays Team Challenge presented by Sonic Drive Ins of Central Texas

      This year's clay shoot will be held on Friday, October 12, 2007. The event proceeds will benefit CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Travis County. For a brochure, click here.

2006 NFL Alumni Austin Chapter 3rd Annual Klays for Kids™ Sporting Clays Team Challenge

      Last year's clay shoot was a terrific success. First place team was Ranger, International captained by Bob McKay. The second place team was Longhorn, International, captained by Joe Reed and Gerald McNeil. Third place went to Texas Concrete Materials, captained by Bob Yates.  Sponsors included Delaware Sub Shops (Gold Sponsor), James and Cara Patton (Silver Sponsor), Texas Concrete Materials (Silver Sponsor), Longhorn International (Bronze Sponsor), Ranger Excavating (Bronze Sponsor), Allen Financial (Bronze Sponsor), El Arroyo (Bronze Sponsor), Instone Texas (Station Sponsor), Regions Bank (Station Sponsor) and Bob McKay (Station Sponsor). We wish to thank McBride's, Inc. and Cabella's for their generous donation of prizes for our shooters.  In addition, Ticket City donated 2 tickets to the Houston Texans vs. Tennessee Titans NFL game. James Realty Holdings donated a 2-night stay at a 2-bedroom condo on Lake Travis. Sportsman's Finest donated a $50 gift certificate. The donated prizes were raffled off to three lucky winners. Thank you to all our sponsors and donors. Following the clay shoot, participants were treated to a delicious catfish fry donated by Longhorn, International. Breakfast was provided by El Arroyo of Austin. Thank you so much to the University of Texas Cowboys for working each of the stations. Well done, gentlemen! Proceeds from the tournament will benefit various Austin children's charities.

2007 Super Bowl Raffle Tickets

    Each year, we raffle a trip for two (accommodations and flights included) to the NFL Super Bowl. This year's Super Bowl will be held in Miami.  There are only 200 tickets ($100/each) sold and the drawing is held live in Austin. Tickets are first come-first served AND THEY ARE GOING FAST!  Proceeds of this raffle benefit the Rise School of Austin.
