Don’ t miss the 2nd Annual NFL Alumni Bowling Challenge benefiting the Neighborhood Longhorns Program!
Saturday, February 18, 2012 – Highland Lanes The inaugural 2011 NFL Alumni Bowling Classic was a huge success. Fun was had by all and we raised over $30,000 for the Neighborhood Longhorns Program.
Following the 2-game classic, the NFL Alumni players and the current NFLers played in a round robin tourney for bragging rights. Pictured first are the winners of the inaugural tourney: Stephen Braggs (NFLA), Frank Okam (Tampa Bay) & Rod Babers (NFLA). It was a tough fight but up next is the second place team consisting of Priest Holmes (NFLA), Raul Allegre (NFLA) & Roosevelt Leaks (NFLA). And, our “winners of the losers” were Doug English (NFLA), Cory Redding (Baltimore) & John Haines (NFLA). We’re expecting to sell out so if you have questions about registration or would like to learn more about sponsorship opportunities, please contact us at info@nflaaustin.org.
